it again makes me think that alilloyd as a ship has soooo much potential. it could be so so good,,, this moment especially helps give it a little ground to stand on,,, i just wish there was a stronger foundation,,, it could be even greater,,, ohhh,,,, maybe in future eps who knows? we'll have to wait and see,,,

im willing to bet that this belief is also one that was sourced from credos/jang-cheol, just like the rock paper scissors game and just the farming/pacifism schtick as a whole. it probably played a part in how he had to convince the demons to follow him in the first place,,,

this could also indicate that living honestly and working to earn is a principle that jang-cheol followed in korea, and he decided that he would stick with it when he became credos. alternatively, he had the complete opposite principle (he was a gamer after all, with a max level character,,, could imply that he spent all his time on the game) but when he got transmigrated, he realized that he had another shot at making a living honestly and decided to commit to that. there isn't really enough to make a solid conclusion on how jang-cheol lived, but this is an interesting indicator and i think it's worth a bookmark! i hope the prequel gets a manhwa so i can read it,,, manifesting,,,

lloyd got like a jump ability and according to my mutuals thats not in the novel? so im curious as to what thats for,,, lloyd says it already but yeah he's a swordmaster now and has tons of other skills and summons too. what would a super jump be useful for,,,? so far, most if not all of his skills have had some use in the story,,, skills that are deliberately brought up like this are always used eventually. what in the world will a jump skill do??? what kind of situation will lloyd find himself in?? is this not almost over??? i'm so curious,,,

Very fun in concept. Prince charming x the most normal guy you’ll meet in this universe.

Bonus headcanon: Most of my voice ships are specifically meant to be post-game in my brain so I imagine that after HEA, Smitten ends up feeling like he NEEDS to constantly ask if any romantic partners of his are okay and such. Hero would be one of the only ones that really understands why (or at least understands the best) & doesn’t get vaguely annoyed about it methinks.

Not a waste of my time at all!! I love hearing what folks think about my art! And thank you!! Mine being considered the best toipad art by someone is mighty flattering... I'm not sure if i can handle the weight of such a title. /silly

Toilet in particular was some trouble to me; in my mind, he's a strange middle aged man who also has the dorky whimsy of a middle schooler who wants so badly to be considered cool. While I don't know if that weird energy is communicated in my design for him, I'm glad to hear people like it!! MePad is also very fun for me to draw, and I'm glad I've leaned into the robot thing more (nothing wrong with human MePad, but when his whole arc is about him learning emotions, it feels fitting to keep him as a piece of technology in some sense).

It is amazing how much this silly ship matters to me. I'm glad other people enjoy them as much as I do!!!

a masterpost of what i consider gay subtext in Uramichi Onii San - the Manga

not the Anime quite yet. no offense Touko Machida but I simply do not want to deal with two interpretations of the work at this point in time.

Generally Kinda Romantic Subtext Between Certain Characters that I Think Can Be Interpreted Either Way

Uramichi and Usahara I cite this for the near telepathic communication. Say what you will - married couples are known for this shit - and while it's definitely not anywhere close to confirmed that these two characters have strong feelings for each other, imo this was pretty gay of them. But to put it one way - are you really friends if people don't mistake you for a gay couple at times? imo not really.

additionally, while it might be just beginning chapter art...tell me where our favorite bunny is looking? Is he being respectful?

(honestly i do think usahara is straight but yk...this mangaka likes his gay men pathetic methinks so there is a chance!)

2. Uramichi and Iketeru

back when iketeru was in hs and uramichi's age isn't given - but i think they're the same age? anyway the lyrics over this scene are just...gay as hell. And they're helping a child find their mom. That is married couple behavior.

(obviously could just be a joke/not intended. their relationship is literally a gag on not understanding each other because iketeru is too happy for uramichi)

3. Kumatani and Iketeru

there's also some somewhat strong subtext between kumatani and iketeru. Like first, kumatani was the first guy who got the weird shirt iketeru found.

and next, the constant protection of iketeru from alcohol is courtesy of kumatani our mvp

he even protects him from our favorite loser

while not as extreme as his protection of HACHITA THE BABY it is still noticeable that Iketeru is someone he cares about.

and both kumatani and iketeru hid their love life from the camera (as did the whole cast hehe). Kumatani literally says his love life isn't family friendly - which can mean a lot of things, including that he's homosexual. Iketeru says it's too beautiful to be shared - which can mean anything really, even that he's straight and had a normal love life that he ain't willing to share.

Imo this sequence of behaviors can be read one of two ways. First of all, you'd have to be blind to not see the obvious resemblance between Iketeru and Hachita, so the affection and thus acceptance of strange gifts due to their similarity is natural. But also...gay? Hmmmmmmmmmm

4. Uramichi and Kumatani

They kind of just hang out a lot, and Kumatani regularly reads more positivity in Uramichi than is probably there. Not really as showstoppingly romantic as the other three examples of subtext, but imo still quite a nice bit of fun in its own right. They're probably the ship easiest to imagine writing besides kumatani and iketeru and my personal favorite but before we get to that...

The Predatory Gay Man I Must Mention For The Completionist In Me

ok look. homophobic caricature he may be. but i said I would catalog all gay subtext in uramichi and imo on this website gay subtext include gay text (hxh moment) and capellini furitsuke is in fact. gay. and a horrible predatory man the likes of which rival your worst coworker. And probably beat him.

he torments the men around him and forces them to engage in behavior they're not interested in. i cite here usahara and saito's mistreatment but there might be more I missed.

like you can't describe capellini's behavior as anything but horrid and disgusting. i'll call uramichi onii san many things - particularly pro-lgbt in terms of rep isn't close. Still love it in general - and I'm pretty sure the author himself is gay given the ludicrous amount of male character thirst traps he draws - but i don't think he likes that about himself tbqh. But I don't really know him - just go on his twitter now and then.

Finally, the moment I've been waiting for but you all don't realize is coming maybe idk

Uramichi and Kikaku - a mostly one sided love story

This relationship isn't so much implied as it is easily ignorable yet true: it is obviously intended to be read as a love story of sorts, whether it be a gag about how lonely uramichi is and how he needs some emotional connection, or just plain 'he's gay'. This is literally the only guy who gets the door to Uramichi's heart regularly attempting to open treatment, let alone the fact that when Kikaku begs Uramichi to help him out with work he always agrees...maybe more so due to fear than genuine care but still.

there's probably more examples, but these are enough to prove my point imho

he also invites Kikaku to the first end of year party (there aren't any others at the time of writing, specifying in the case of a reader from the future)...or attempts to. Not to Saito Uebu or any other staff member - perhaps because he expects the ones he's closer to already be there, but still - specifically the guy who's only ever bothered him to help complete his work. It's what being horrifically lonely and dick brained does to you (i would know that best).

which leads to yet ANOTHER HEART DOOR SCENE THING

so uh yeah. uramichi's constant giving in to kikaku i think makes more sense if we consider the (slight) romantic inclination he ""might"" have for him.

BONUS: Uramichi and Utano had a moment that was pretty cute but not enough to qualify as subtext in my eyes because they kind of have no chemistry in canon so i still get to title this gay subtext but I also like them

Honestly I want you to go more into detail about the dynamic your ocs share:>

So for this, I decided to Choose Wukong and Zhaoyan's dynamic, mostly because it's really lore heavy.

The whole shtick of their dynamic is:

"Opposites who you'd think could never be similar to one another, until you realize how similar they actually are when you start reading in between the lines."

From the surface, yeah, they'd never get along (again). Zhao's a relaxed magic lady. While Wukong is a loud demon. And also, the Chinese Zodiacs of the monkey and tiger are specifically stated not to get along very well haha

(Not to mention fashion wise they're also supposed to be opposites, with Zhao's fashion being elegant and feminine while Wukong's literally in armour most of the time)

And just the fact they get on each other's nerves a lot. Zhao's bitch-y-ness and hypocrisy (reasonably) get on Wukong's nerves. And Wukong's recklessness and just the general fact he's pretty frustrating, get on Zhao's nerves.

But they're actually a lot more similar.

Both in looks (orange hair, golden eyes), association with the sun (Wukong's aesthetic with the sun and the tiger's association with weather elements in Chinese culture. Zhao's being the sun), but also in their flaws.

Both run away when they make mistakes. And it's gotten to the point where they're even running togheter methinks.

But the difference is, Wukong stops running and actually starts facing his flaws. While Zhao just chooses to live her life alone, as the witch doesn't have the will to try and rekindle everything that's happened.

But when MK comes along, she HAS to face her problems. And though she doesn't realize it, it's the best thing that has happened to her. Because it also gets her closer to Wukong, and they start realizing their shared flaws internally and they become one of my fave duos

Because they still dislike each other of course- But now it's more lighthearted. But that development is SLOW, I think in Zhao's story they only start progressing in like, late season 3.

I also love their dynamic in general- The wine aunt and Apple Juice uncle as I love to call it! It's my favorite trope afjjfkfmkfk be it platonic or romantic (Zhao and Wukong AREN'T supposed to be in love but I'm actually neutral about it because some of my irl friends ship it)

And yeah that's it about em lololol, there's a LOT of (admittedly poorly executed) symbolism in their dynamic and I really like talking about them :D

Main point being I think some people take this game just a little too seriously when we're talking about a card game that has a fucking doomsday device priming code hidden within it's files and the four old people in charge are too busy using it to kill eachother out of pure petty drama instead of doing anything about it. Let people have fun with it methinks. Like I personally think Leshy and P03 are funnier as a divorced couple that hates eachother's guts but I'm not out here frothing at the mouth because someone likes to draw them in an active relationship. Literally all four of them are total weirdos that want eachother dead you can literally pair up any of them and make it work. It's whatever, man.

I think that just leaves Jett and Mark?? I can see Jett’a soulmate reveal being something really dumb, like Damon tripping and landing on his arm with Jett watching or something equally as silly

Would Grace and Wolfgang be soulmates here?? Her and Eva must be ENEMIESS here because even if Wolfgang doesn’t tell her she attempted to kill them, she would probably notice Wolfgang acting even more hostile to Eva and know something happened

While on that topic, I think Jett and Mark might also be soulmates here

The beauty of this soulmate au is that, if you're not a big fan of a certain character/Damon ship, you can just have them be platonic soulmates and your preferred ship be romantic (or they can also be platonic, I'm making suggestions, not rules) (I just don't talk about them as much since the au revolves around Damon)

Desmond, upon seeing Damon: "I'm really sorry, I said I'd appreciate your gift but...I kinda lost it"

Damon, holding said gift up with the most deadpan expression imaginable: "I know."

Grace is actually really fun to think about in the context of this AU (Wolfgang has 2 hands and deserves 2 mean blondes methinks). Other than refusing to speak with him, Grace wasn't really all that antagonistic with Damon compared to the others in canon, so I don't think having more outspoken people vouching for Damon from the start would change much about their dynamic. After finding out they share a soulmate it'll be a bit awkward between them, but if the soybean apologizes on his hands and knees for saying her talent's useless, she might consider letting bygones be bygones (he isn't doing that of his own free will). But oh boy it is on sight when she next sees Eva after finding out about the murder plan. Whether or not any fists fly, it is ugly and out there for everyone else to see, that's for sure.

Because Kaimon gets along a little more quickly here, there's not much on Kai's end to convince Damon to join the gaming tournament. That role goes to Cassidy, who, by virtue of having been mostly chill with him this whole time (and also being annoyingly persistent), manages to get Damon to accept the invitation right then and there, plus roping him into helping set the tournament up.

The conversation with Wolfgang happens shortly after, and Damon gets out of the questioning using Cassidy's request and makes a "tactical retreat" (aka running away). He's distracted, falls off a step stool, and his own muffled curse gets drowned out by Jett's "Yeowch!"

Aurora sat solemnly underneath the oak tree down by the pavilion, the soft evening wind blowing through its leaves.

For a moment, she was almost tempted to lay down amongst the grass and close her eyes, allowing nature to take over her body. She refrained, hearing footsteps and bickering from the distance.

Many of the camp counselors had already gone to bed, resting peacefully in their assigned bunks. Aurora was afraid of getting caught—though she wasn’t sure anyone would care about her and Neil’s friends, as long as they weren’t upsettingly loud.

The bickering neared closer. Aurora hugged her knees close to her chest, resting her back against the rough bark of the tree. The sun was gone from the sky, stars shining brightly through the blue and black hues. She peered into the distance, spotting six figures and Neil, who was leading the charge.

She beamed, though something inside of her stirred—maybe nervousness, maybe even fear. Would Neil’s friends like her? Would they make fun of her dreams?

She closed her eyes tightly and shook her head, clearing the thoughts from her brain. Neil smiled as he focused his sights on Aurora, his friends walking closely behind him.

His lips parted, and his hands cupped around his mouth as he hollered. “Hey, you made it!”

Aurora stirred in the grass, straightening out her legs.

“Why wouldn’t I have?” She questioned, eyeing the other boys behind Neil.

There were more than she imagined.

“Dunno,” he shrugged. “Nerves?”

“Not me,” she countered. “Not ever.”

Neil allowed his friends to take a seat in the grass before he got to properly introducing them, everyone taking a moment to catch their breaths.

“Alright,” he said, clapping his hands together. “Let’s start, yeah?”

There were two red-headed boys, one dirty blonde, and three with darker, brown hair.

“Charlie,” one broke out. There was a smirk on his face, his resting expression. “Charlie Dalton.”

He stuck his hand out, anticipating Aurora to give it a good shake. She did so, matching his expression. “Nice to meet you. I think Neil has mentioned you before.”

Charlie laughed.

The others, noting Charlie’s daring ability to break through their shared social anxiety, followed his lead.

Aurora beamed as she shook hands with them, noting their names as Pitts, Cameron, Knox, Todd, and Meeks.

Todd was softer than the rest of the boys, quiet and simply withdrawn. Aurora sympathized with him. Meeks was kind, though he focused more on Pitts than he did on the blonde-headed girl. Cameron was respectful with her, but immediately went back to cursing Charlie out after his introduction.

Charlie snarled at Cameron, while Pitts and Meeks kept a steady conversation on the other side of the oak tree. Todd huddled closer to Neil, which Aurora smiled fondly at.

She was scared for no reason, it seemed.

As separate conversations began to break out, Charlie found himself sprawled out in the grass. He looked up at Aurora, cocking his head to one side as she sat criss-cross. “So,” he said. “What do you do?”

“Sorry?” She asked.

“What’s your life story,” he simplified.

Aurora scratched the back of her neck. “Uh, I don’t know. My parents are economists. They want me to work with them, deep in politics and whatnot.”

Charlie nodded. “Ah.”

“I don’t like economics,” she added. “They’re a bore.”

“What do you like?” He asked.

“Writing,” she answered. “Journalism.”

Aurora thought back to all the reasons why she’d come here—freedom, passion, and a dream. She assumed the boys were here for the same reasons. After all, it’s not like they’d get those kinds of chances within Welton’s walls.

Charlie nodded. “Sucking the marrow from life.”

“Yeah, somewhat,” Aurora replied. “And you?”

“Always,” he smirked. “My parents want me to become a banker, but that isn’t much fun.”

Aurora laughed. “Oh, god. That might be worse than economics, I think. Though they do go hand in hand.”

“They do, don’t they?” Charlie’s smirk faded into a softer smile, his eyes closed as the wind picked up.

Neil glanced over from his spot in the grass, giving Aurora a comforting grin.

She returned it, giving him a thumbs up.

The boys and Aurora sat under the old oak tree until one of the camp counselors got antsy, ordering the group back to their assigned bunks. Groaning, they all stood from their spots, descending down the grassy field.

Charlie walked beside Aurora, though the two didn’t speak much during their waltz. Cameron rolled his eyes at something Pitts was saying, while Todd laughed softly at Neil’s joke.

Meeks yawned. Knox yawned, as well.

Soon, everyone was yawning. They all laughed.

Once Aurora approached her bunk, she gave Neil and the others a small wave, Charlie being the only one to properly return it.

She wasn’t alone here, and that comforted her. Though, now something else other than fear had found itself inside of her—perhaps a fondness?

She refused to think too much about it.

Here's a challenge for the Hunger Games AU that I'm gonna bounce around in my head, Blazein.

I like either the option of them being from the same district, maybe even growing up together and not wanting to kill each other, OR they could be from completely different districts. Either one has a lot of potential methinks

OOOOOOOO! This'll be fun BUT I am going to inform you now before you get into it, I don't believe this will be a ship where both survive. Not gonna say who yet, but one of them is going to die in the arena. This is also an outline, so it won't be that detailed (though, probably still gonna be long as hell)

Their Districts and Quelling Introductions

Blaze is from district 10, livestock and is built like a ranch hand. He is tall, beefy, but still on the rather lean side as while the district has livestock, it is still heavily regulated by the Captial so any killing of animals for personal gain is illegal, so he has had known his fair share of starvation. Despite this, though, Blaze is a massive beacon of joy and calm any animal and person alike, which comes in handy when he is distracting various Peacekeepers whenever Dottie, Daniel, and his other friends and family are slipping cattle under their nose. All in all, he has lived a rather good life despite the circumstances, until he was randomly chosen for the reaping.

Blazes personality and looks came in handy when he was reaped at 17, as he is quite the looker, a rare natural beauty with a bright and shinning personality to match. This made many of the capital fall head over heels for him, with stylists linning up to dress this handsome man (hes a boy but... Captital cares none). Like how many see a dumb dog and go "oooohhhh look at dat boiiii", that was the capitals reaction to him because Blaze was just naturally alluring, naturally pure with not a corrupted bone in his body, helped by the fact that his reaping partner was Dottie, his cousin, so add in the classic older brother charm that the Captital loves, he is the ideal victor. He had high hopes of winning.

Ein is from district 3, electronics, and as smart as any of the greats from his district. Anything that was handed to him he would find a way to take a part and this genius would have served him well if it wasn't for the fact of his dad. Ein's dad was a former game designer, having had his talents noticed by the capital at a young age, and he was doing quite well until his sister was reaped and Ein's father was found to have attempted to rig the games in her favor. This led to the sister dying and Ein's father being fired, because no one could ever find out about the riggings of the game as they are supposed to be "fair". Due to this, Ein was shunned from his community as rumor upon nasty rumor was spread about his family, getting to the point where he had to take out tesserae in order to feed his family, which is how he ends up getting reaped. (His partner is negligible because I can't think of one, they die instantly ig)

Ein is 16 when reaped, and while not as handsome as Blaze, Ein knows he is two things, smart and pretty, so he uses it too his advantage. His father was a former game maker so he knows how to play the game, and that is how he becomes the "underdog". He does his best to enamour the capital to him, playing nice and kind, at one point even purposely tripping the interviewer just so he can help them up, AND IT WORKS! He plays a clumsy genius, a true underdog and this splits the Capital 50/50, between him and Blaze.

First Opinions

When Blaze and Ein meet at the training grounds, it becomes very apparent to Ein that Blaze is just Blaze. He is nice, kind, and completely unable to lie and it is endearing. Ein has spent the last few years surrounded by people who hate him and is now in an area where everyone is treating him like they are gonna kill him, so having someone just be friendly is great. He is able to be at ease and that is the thing that scares him most.

Blazes first opinion of Ein is in a similar boat and in fact views Ein very positively. Blaze knows he is not that smart and knows that he has a better chance of winning working with someone smart, and Dottie agrees, so they adopt Ein into their pack. They provide strength and Ein provides smarts! A match made in heaven!

The Arena/ Actual Game Time

When they get to the arena they find it to be could and mountainous with heavy clouds in the sky. The moment they are released Blaze, Dottie and Ein run as far as possible from the cornucopia, Ein having told them their chances of dying previously, though, they aren't out of the clear. The side effect of having a good introduction is that the other districts will also know about it so it isn't long before a pack of careers are chasing them with the intent purpose to slaughter Blaze, who they view as their biggest threat.

This does result on the group splitting up, and despite Ein's protests, Blaze runs off from the group with the majority of the enemy group following. Unfortuntely for Ein and Dottie, this does mean that they too are being chased by their own career and posse. They run through the woods, Ein barely keeping pace with Dottie until they come to a mountain and start climbing. Dottie has a much easier time, having climbed MANY fences before but Ein finds it incredibly challenging, it doesn't help that there are many falling rocks and entire boulders that they have to dodge. The careers start gaining on them, and in order to help her new friend, Dottie drops just below him and gives him a boost just up the ledge and as Ein reaches down to pull Dottie up, one of the careers manages to impale her side with a javelin.

Ein manages to drag her up, but not before pushing a boulder that hand landed precariously on a ledge on top of the posse, causing one to be crushed and the other to flee. He pulls Dottie into a cave and tries to admister first aid, and he does manage to keep her for a while but she doesn't make it and ends up bleeding out with a smile on her face, speaking about how at least she is dying with a friend. Hours pass and Ein is stuck with the body, frozen in place as he stares at the remains of one of his first friends corpse that he is unable to burry in fear of getting attacked, and that is how Blaze finds him.

Blaze managed to get the upperhand on his opponents, managing to rip the axe from one of the careers hands and turn it on them and killed the other one by just barely dodging their attempt to stab him in the back. He then retraced his steps, getting slightly lost on the way before he finds a torn piece of clothing that he knows belonged to Ein. He climbs the mountain, past the crushed body and follows the trail of blood into the cave. He sees his cousin dead on the floor, Eins hands covered in blood after trying to give first aid. When Ein sees him, a damn of emotion breaks and he starts weeping, apologizing over and over again before Blaze draws him into a hug, forgiving him immediately and soothing Ein, despite his protest. Dottie died with a smile, and that is all Blaze could wish for.

They make it through the night, and despite both of their ruined states, they leave the cave. Blaze pushes a boulder in front of it, tombing his cousin and Ein and Blaze continue climbing the mountain. They find many places of water, mushrooms, and berries along the mountain, Ein being able to tell what is safe and what is not. As the days go by and as they get higher in the mountain, it gets colder and at one point while climbing, Blaze is the one to slip and ends up falling into river knocked out and Ein has to fish him out. The water is freezing and Ein is shivering before they make it to a cave, and despite knowing that he could kill Blaze right now, he couldn't. Instead he takes the axe and sets a fire, working on warming each other up and at one point, Ein lays close as they fall asleep and wakes up to find Blaze's arms around him, his green and blue eyes staring at Ein with such affection and he thanks him.

Unfortunately it is not to last as they hear others on the mountain, the moment breaks and they leave the cave and continue climbing, this time Blaze is the one lagging behind slightly as he is still recovering from his head injury but they make it to the top with the last career following up, the one that through the javelin at Dottie. Even with it being two on one, both Blaze and Ein are cold and exhausted, their muscles worn and tired but they manage to get the upperhand and throw their opponent off the mountain, but by then it is too late. The career had managed to stab Blaze.

He falls to his knees, grasping the blade in his side, just like Dottie with the javelin. Ein immediately tries to help but Blaze pushes him away, and despite the pain, the cold, the tired, he is smiling so brilliantly, and tells Ein to finish him off. Ein sputters, but Blaze doesn't want to suffer, pulling the knife out of his side, shaking as he hands it to Ein. Blaze tells Ein that he has worked with livestock and knows whats fatal and that he doesn't wish to suffer. He holds Eins hands as he pulls the knife against his neck, his hands calm despite the shaking as he says "I really did enjoy meeting ya, and you aren't a bad last sight.". That calms Ein just enough for him to apply the pressure to cut the artery, and Blaze dies with a smile on his face.

Ein doesn't even hear that he is the victor and he takes his first friend, the first person he ever truly cared about and who cared about him head into his hands and cries, but his smile never leaving his face as he presses his lips against Blazes forehead, feeling the last of the mans warmth and fire go out, never to shine in the capital again.

(I am so sorry for this ending, I started writing and it just.... It got very out of hand......... I am so sorry)

Ein as a Winner

With Ein's win he manages to bring up his families name, but even then, Ein refuses to return to his district. Unable too look at the people who shunned him for so long now try and befirend him. He had already known true friendship, true care so the moment the capital offers him a job offer to help design defenses, he takes it. He spends years locking him self away, taking things apart and rebuilding the over and over again, but he still manages to stay in the capitals good graces. He smiles, he entertains, he speaks, and he trains the tributes from his district how to do the same, but his is never happy again.

When Ein hears of a rebellion happening, one promising to burn the capital to the ground, until nothing is left. One would think that with Ein's intelligence he would hesitate, but the spark of rebellion hand been lit in him long ago, back when his body was warmed in the arms of another, so there is one thing that Ein promises, to torch the capital until there is nothing left but a blaze of red, and he succeeds, with the fires holding him in his arms one last time as the first genuine smile in years appears on his face. Comforted by fire one last time.

Yeah, in this Ein becomes a self-sacrifice arsonist..........

This ended up so much darker than I thought.... but truly I think that with this ship it is the only way to go if we really do want to make it in the spirit. Cause Blaze's name is Blaze and the Hunger Games really like making sure that names fit their fate, and of course a fire lights a spark!

So earlier today, the entertainment hs was blowing up with Ren Min’s name because of her dating scandal. A paparazzi, released video evidence confirming that she is dating a director. So the top searches were all her name or that director, or both. I really don’t approve of celebrity’s relationships getting outed like this but what can you do. Then XZ gets into the mix, remember, She’s his co-star in Yuguyao / The longest promise. The reason why is kinda funny tho:

Their CP supertopic has changed their avatar into the words “fake” like what most accounts do when denying a rumor or melon, they stamp this word on it. It’s because of what came out, if RM is in a relationship, then their ship is not SZD. Which I think is not necessary, you can pair people up and continue to do so but not believe they are real. For example I love Dilraba and YY because of YAMG, but I don’t think they are SZD.

I’m not even mad when drama related CPs pop up or whatever co star the boys acted with. I mean, XZ & WYB started out like that too. It’s all good as long as they do not overstep and cause trouble and bad press for the boys. Poor XZ tho, suddenly getting dragged into this.
